Welcome to the Lonesome Stone Natural Fiber Mill, Yarn, and Alpacas
High atop the Rocky Mountains, nestled between two ski areas, Steamboat Springs and Winter Park, and thirty short minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park, sits the little town of Granby, Colorado. It is there that we have made our home. Our fiber mill sits on our twenty-five-acre homestead, complete with family and seventy alpacas.
We are a family-owned and operated fiber processing mill dedicated to handling and processing your precious fiber with attention to detail and quality. We also hand paint yarn made by our mill. We have a yarn shop where we sell yarns of others, hand-painted by us, as well as yarns exclusively made by Lonesome Stone. We have all types of blends, alpaca, mohair, wool, merino, and silk, to name a few, in different weights, bulky, worsted, sport, and lace. We have a wide variety of colorways with more being developed all the time.
